Today I'm thankful for ...
... the boyfriend not being so sick as to miss the concert. We ended up at the Electric Six concert tonight and after taking some medication he was feeling really green. But the wave of nausea seemed to pass eventually and we were able to stay all the way through the antics of Electric Six. Definitely worth going to. :)

Today I'm thankful for ...
... being introduced to the Red Elvises band. While almost every song has to do with drinking, they are very fun to listen to and put on a great show. Go see them!

Beer beer beer beer beer beer beer beer!
Today I'm thankful for ...
... being told about the Asylum Street Spankers. What a weird group! It has a folk feel and there's even a song using the saw. Yes, saw. And throat singing. But they're fun and good musicians. We were also really lucky to get seating in the front row of the chairs section. We had perfect visibility.
