Today I'm thankful for ...
... successfully completing Phase 1 of our Fillmore Grind renovation project. The 3rd coat of paint went up really quick and we had some professional help this time. It's also amazing to see how many other people are getting involved with the project! We had two very good conversations today with people who are going to help with some significant projects. Another individual is looking to help redo the floors and redo the counter area---we don't have a solid commitment yet but we're working to try to figure that part out.

So quick!
Today I'm thankful for ...
... a super speedy second coat of paint. We were very worried that we wouldn't have enough volunteers to get Coat #2 done, but it went up so quickly it was crazy! Also, we had some fine contributions from friends who were able to hit Costco and get us some things to stock the shelves. I also hit Smart and Final and picked up some additional items for Mike.

... a great number of awesome volunteers. We really couldn't have done today's job without them.

All wrapped up
Today I'm thankful for ...
... getting the final bits of taping done and some of the plastic sheeting up. This is really going to make it easier to paint because we can be sloppy!

Secret access

... getting access to the coffee shop by getting a set of keys from Mike. Now we can get in and out whenever we want!

Double half-caf no whip grande soy cappuccino latte with room
Today I'm thankful for ...
... Starbucks' custom ordering. I like my drink and I like it a certain way. While ordering it I found out the barista actually liked the same drink. Grande five-pump soy chai latte.
