... Remember The Milk. What a great simple piece of software. Web-based and you can take it offline with Google Gears. Yay. I've been trying to organize my life and I have a lot of things I need to track right now. Fortunately RTM is keeping them all neatly squared away...

Silver lining
Today I'm thankful for ...
... looking at today's staff reduction as a way to free up time to tackle some really interesting problems. A little idea that I've been working on the side may yet become a full-fledged product. I'm totally excited that I get to create my day now and be able to tackle these things.

... a wonderful day filled with cake, friends, cake, good food, cake, games, cake, staying up late, and more cake. I seriously have so much cake that I don't know what to do with it! I'm also so glad that two restaurants were able to hold our large group.

Hold ... hold!!!
Today I'm thankful for ...
... the boyfriend not being so sick as to miss the concert. We ended up at the Electric Six concert tonight and after taking some medication he was feeling really green. But the wave of nausea seemed to pass eventually and we were able to stay all the way through the antics of Electric Six. Definitely worth going to. :)

... being a dreamer and finding another dreamer. The two of us have been talking about where we want to go with the Toaster Project and I think we will eventually find an angle for this thing that will make it work.

... all of the news going out about Prop 8 and about the weirdness in the McCain campaign. I'm hoping tonight for a revolution: I hope that Obama can pull it off. Only hours to go before the polls open.
